The new project of JOHNNY MOX (Nurse!Nurse!Nurse!, Fonda Sisters) is largely based on looping art. A castle of voices, pedals and beatbox stacked with meticulous care. The result is a sort of skeletal Gospel, perforated by the noise-rust and warmed by electronic grafts. Sometime before the release of the band's third album, longtime lead guitarist Nicholas Sadler and bassist Samuel Walker left the group, leaving the future of Daughters in doubt. The band's management has announced the band will not be touring in support of the self-titled album, and that it will presumably be their last.
